Awichon Heritage Village can be found at Brgy. Upper Uma, Lubuagan, Kalinga. The village is two (2) kilometers from the town proper and it is situated between Pasil and Lubuagan.

The Village is considered as the cultural center of Kalinga and was founded by Alonso Saclag, Sr., who was recognized as a National Living Treasure of the Performing Arts in 2018. He was a member of Kalinga people and a native of Lubuagan, Kalinga. Alonso gained his title through his campaign for the promotion of Kalinga culture by establishing the practice of wearing traditional Kalinga clothing for important events; teaching children of Kalinga dances and contemporary music. After receiving the award, he continued his advocacy to promote culture and eventually established a Village within his town (Awichon Village) that aims to promote Kalinga culture to tourists.

AWICHON VILLAGE is a place to learn about some of the Kalinga typical ways of living. It is one of the top attractions in the province where visitors can sleep overnight in the Kalinga authentic houses. Cultural performances are also presented to vistors to show the rich culture of the place.

The village is situated in Lubuagan where it is 50 kilometers from
Tabuk City and 460 kilometers North of Manila.
