Discovering Kalinga

Kalinga is a landlocked province in the Philippines situated within the Cordillera Administrative Region in Northern Luzon. The capital of the province is Tabuk City. Kalinga is bordered by Mountain Province to the south, Abra to the west, Isabela to the east, Cagayan to the northeast, and Apayao to the north.

Kalinga province is very rich in culture and it is known as “Home of Ancient Traditions”. The people were able to preserve their culture despite of the long occupation of the Spaniards, Americans and the Japanese in the lowlands.
